Channel Seven's Matt Doran shocked viewers on Sunday when he announced live on air he was set to quit Weekend Sunrise.
Matt made headlines again a few months later when he stormed off the Weekend Sunrise set in June 2022 during a glitch plagued live cross (Pictured) Joining co-host Sally Bowrey for a live cross with Astrophysical & Planetary Sciences' Dr Kevin France for a NASA rocket launch in the NT, Matt was seen to grow frustrated when an annoying technical glitch compromised the interview. Two years later, he was promoted to his current role as co-host of Weekend Sunrise alongside Monique Wright after intermittently filling in for weekday host David Koch.
