In a recent appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” Damon addressed the state of the “Bourne” franchise and his future involvement with it. He confirmed that “All Quiet on the Western Front” director Edward Berger is in the early stages of developing a new entry in the series, and expressed openness to starring in the film if it materializes. Damon added a caveat to his enthusiasm, explaining that aging will inevitably require him to pass the “Bourne” torch onto another actor in the near future.
