Mary Elizabeth Ellis says her son Russell might be the only person who makes her laugh more than her husband, Charlie Day
Ellis has appeared in 37 episodes of the long-running dark comedy It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, in which Day stars as Charlie Kelly. “Once you meet her, you’ll understand,” Danson, 76, exclusively told Us Weekly of Steenburgen, 71, at the Los Angeles premiere of his new series, A Man on the Inside, on Sunday, November 10. At the A Man on the Inside premiere, Ellis added that in her role, she’s had to thread the needle of performing comedy while doing justice to the show’s more serious moments.
