Marvel’s ‘Fantastic Four’ Titled ‘The Fantastic 4: First Steps’: Comic-Con Concept Footage Unveils Retro 1960s Vision and Galactus’ Head
Marvel's 'Fantastic Four' cast, including Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, arrived at Comic-Con.
A concept reel for the first “Fantastic Four” installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was shown to Hall H attendees after an introduction by director Matt Shakman, giving fans a taste of the Space Age aesthetic that will be incorporated into the superhero feature. Although plot details remain under wraps, fans have speculated that “Fantastic Four” takes the heroes back to the ’60s roots of the comics after Marvel released a vintage promotional illustration on Valentine’s Day. The cast also includes Julia Garner (Silver Surfer) and Ralph Ineson (Galactus), plus Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne and John Malkovich in undisclosed roles.
