EXCLUSIVE: Following a sleepy San Diego Comic-Con last summer due to the actors’ strike, this year’s is about to explode with the return of Marvel Studios to Hall H per sources. This year’s presence for Marvel falls on the opening weekend of their first R-rated Disney movie, Deadpool & Wolverine, which is expected to be huge, with some tracking firms spotting a possible $200M start. Thunderbolts starring the anti-heroes of Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barns (Sebastian Stan), John Walker (Wyatt Russell), and Alexei Shostakov (David Harbour) is currently in production for a May 2, 2025 summer start.
