In a sweet treat to fans, the entertainment studio announced the official casting for the long-awaited film set for release on July 25, 2025. In a review of the film, Rolling Stone wrote: “It not only scrapes the bottom of the Marvel-movie barrel; it knocks out the floor and sucks audiences into a black hole of soul-crushing, coma-inducing dullness. Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, and Ian Springer wrote the screenplay for the upcoming film about the first characters Stan Lee and Jack Kirby created for Marvel Comics.
