Marty Sheargold reveals he is four months sober as he breaks his silence on AFL Grand Final controversy


Triple M host Marty Sheargold has revealed he has been sober for four months following a drunken incident at the 2023 AFL Grand Final.

Speaking to the Herald Sun, Marty also told how he had been around four months sober at the time of the alleged incident but fell of the wagon at the grand final. In July, Marty told how he was leaving his Triple M show to spend more time with his family and prioritise 'self-care' following his three-month absence after the AFL incident. 'As a result, I have made the decision to prioritise self-care, maintaining a better work/life balance and will not be returning to my Triple M Breakfast show.
