Martin Short named latest celebrity mayor of Funner, California - following a host of A-list names who served the town: 'I can't wait to share my plans with all of my constituents'
Martin Short has been announced as the next mayor of Funner, California, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Only Murder In The Building star is the fourth mayor to preside over the town, with the likes of celebs Rob Riggle, David Hasselhoff and Jane Lynch previously serving as head of the city. He will also take an oath swearing 'to protect fun, good times, laughing out loud and positive vibes from the negative influences determined to turn a smile upside down,' according to THR.
