Martin Luther King Jr.’s daughter, Bernice King, wants her mother’s legacy to be properly remembered.

During the highly publicized trial, audio was played in which Majors had asked Jabbari to act more like Coretta or Michelle Obama. Her X (formerly known as Twitter) message included a portrait of her mother, and linked to a 2017 article on the HuffPost ’s website that she wrote about Coretta a few years ago. "She was the architect of the King Legacy and founder of@TheKingCenter, which she founded two months after Daddy was assassinated," Bernice continued.
