As the weather turns colder, many Brits are debating whether it's time to turn their heating on - and money saving expert Martin Lewis has some advice for those in need
October has certainly brought its fair share of gloomy weather, with heavy rainfall leading to flood warnings across the country, and a noticeable chill in the air. "Using a timer's best, because your thermostat is designed to turn your heating on and off to keep your home at the temperature you set it at. But typically, it's less cost effective to leave your heating on all day so a timer will likely be the better option.
