Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis has told households that there is a much cheaper way to dry their clothes indoors this winter instead of using 'demon appliances'
Money-saving guru Martin Lewis has suggested a clever hack for drying clothes indoors during the colder months, without resorting to the costly 'demon appliance' - the tumble dryer. However, the founder of Money Saving Expert warns against relying on tumble dryers if you're mindful of your energy bills, as these appliances can be quite expensive to run. In comparison, energy supplier Utilita estimates that a tumble dryer costs as much as 53p to £1 an hour to run, which is ten to 20 times the amount.
