Martin Lewis' incredible Money Saving Expert team has shared a warning to Brits over their energy bills, as they shared advice on 'locking in' a top energy deal now
In their latest newsletter, the MSE team, led by the financial guru himself, explained that about 85% of UK households are on a "price cap standard tariff". This makes the current fixed deals out there, some of which are already cheaper than the July Price Cap (do a Cheap Energy Club comparison to find yours) look attractive, as you can likely save cash, and get the added bonus of certainty." However, Octopus' deal is exclusively for dual fuel and electric users, while Ovo Energy's is strictly for direct debit customers who have a smart meter installed.
