Martha Stewart Says Parole Officer Didn’t Let Her Host ‘SNL’: “That Bastard”

Martha Stewart could've hosted Saturday Night Live after she spent time behind bars.

“I wanted to and they asked me as I was coming out of Alderson — that camp that I was in for a while,” Stewart joked on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. Stewart remained hopeful that “maybe someday” she would have the privilege of hosting the NBC late-night sketch show as she thinks she “would be amazing.” At the beginning of the interview, Fallon mentioned all the SNL cast members that had impersonated Stewart over the years which included Janeane Garofalo, Nancy Walls Carell, Ana Gasteyer, Amy Poehler, Rachel Dratch, David Spade, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Chloe Fineman.
