Married At First Sight fury as viewers make official complaints to Ofcom amid 'gaslighting' rows

Ofcom has revealed that it received a number of complaints from Married at First Sight UK viewers over alleged gaslighting behaviour by one of the E4 show's stars

The TV regulation body revealed that it received 53 complaints from the public between Tuesday 29 October and Monday 4 November regarding "alleged gaslighting behaviour by Alex". Alex - who was in Aviation Operations before the show - recently served 24 days in a military prison for abandoning his role as a commanding officer at RAF Spadeadam in Cumbria. After taking unauthorised leave from his post at an electronic warfare unit to film MAFS UK, Alex was sentenced to prison time and later dismissed from the forces.
