Marlee Matlin Slams CBS for Not Showing Super Bowl’s ASL Interpreters


Actor Marlee Matlin shared some of her criticisms of CBS following the network’s Super Bowl broadcast, which did not feature any ASL interpreters

Even before the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers took the field on Sunday, February 11, there were some absolutely — for lack of a better word — unhinged moments. Piñero interpreted for Post Malone ’s rendition of “America, The Beautiful” while Dancing With the Stars alum Durant signed alongside Reba McEntire ’s performance of the National Anthem. At the 2023 Super Bowl, the ASL interpreters who appeared on the main broadcast included Colin Denny, Justina Miles and Troy Kotsur.
