Mark Wahlberg kicked off the morning bright and early, in order to make it to church before appearing on various morning talk shows in New York City on Wednesday.

As evidenced by the ashes placed in the shape of a cross on his forehead, the 52-year-old actor, who is a devout Catholic, partook in the Christian tradition that marks the start of the holy season of Lent, before making his appearance on Good Morning America. Earlier in the day, he and actor Jonathan Roumie appeared on Fox & Friends to speak about Hallow and Lent, which begins on February 14, 2024.
