Mark Wahlberg, 52, reveals he's scaled back his gruelling regime that featured a 2:30am wake-up, two workouts and SEVEN meals a day - after it left him with 'the worst eating habits'
Six years on, Wahlberg has spoken out against the routine, which he did to prepare for physical roles, admitting it was 'so extreme.'
Now, instead of eating four full meals at 3.15am, 5.30am, 8am and then 10.30am, the Pain and Gain star has ditched the early morning starts and enjoys just one breakfast at a more human hour. The Other Guys actor, who lives with his wife Rhea Durham and their four children Ella, 20, Michael, 18, Brendan, 15, and Grace, 14, said: 'I'm sad that it took me until I was about 52 years old to figure it out.' This was followed by a shower, a snack of 10 turkey meatballs, gold and 'cryo-chamber recovery' before 10.30am when he would eat a grilled chicken salad with two hard-boiled eggs, olives, avocado, cucumber, tomato, and lettuce.
