EXCLUSIVE: Mark Ruffalo is in talks to star in Amazon MGM Studios adaptation of Don Winslow’s novella Crime 101. While plot details are being kept under wraps, the original short story by Winslow has shades of Heat as it follows high-level jewel thefts that are taking place up and down the Pacific Coast, which police have linked to Colombian cartels. Producers include Working Title’s Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan, RAW’s Bart Layton and Dimitri Doganis, Derrin Schlesinger, and Shane Salerno.
