Mark Ronson Says if Ryan Gosling Won’t Perform ‘I’m Just Ken’ at Oscars ‘Then We’re Not Doing It’ With a Replacement

There will be no substitute singer for Ryan Gosling at the Oscars. If he doesn't wan to sing "I'm Just Ken," there won't be a performance.

When asked if he’d possibly sub in another singer should Gosling not want to perform “I’m Just Ken” live during the Oscars, Ronson immediately shut down the idea. The other is “What Was I Made For?” by Billie Eilish and Finneas, which won the Grammy for best song written for visual media over “I’m Just Ken” and fellow “Barbie” hit “Dance the Night” by Dua Lipa. Should Gosling perform “I’m Just Ken” live at the Oscars, it’ll happen when the 2024 Academy Awards take place on Sunday, March 10.
