“Star Wars” actor Mark Hamill is among those evacuating their homes as fires continue to break out across Los Angeles, causing more than 30,000 people to flee the Pacific Palisades as well as parts of Malibu and Santa Monica. Hamill posted an update on his Instagram on Tuesday night, writing that at 7 p.m. he “evacuated Malibu so last-minute there were small fires on both sides of the road as we approached PCH.” At 8:15 p.m., he and wife Marilou York and dog Trixie arrived safely to their daughter Chelsea’s house in Hollywood. “This Is Us” star Mandy Moore also evacuated her home, giving an update via her Instagram Story that she was safe with “kids, dogs and cats” and “praying and grateful for the first responders.”
