Mark Duplass Revisits ‘Creep’ Franchise With ‘The Creep Tapes’ Series Adaptation
Mark Duplass announced today he has completed production on The Creep Tapes, a half-hour horror TV series based on the Netflix original films.
Duplass revealed the series on social media in a cryptic post with no audio and only the words “Coming Soon” at the end. Per Duplass, “the series is based on a collection of video tapes in the secret vault of the world’s deadliest and most socially uncomfortableserial killer, who hires his victims to film him for the day under false pretenses. In the 2017 sequel, Creep 2, Duplass reprises his role from the first film as a serial killer who lures unsuspecting videographers to their deaths, with Desiree Akhavan portraying his latest target.
