Mark Dobies dead at 65: One Life to Live and Guiding Light soap actor passes away


Mark Dobies, best known for his roles in soap operas like One Life to Live and Guiding Light during the 2000s, has died at age 65.

Dobies, who was was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is best known for his role as district attorney and serial killer Daniel Colson on One Life to Live from 2003 to 2005. The performer also guest-starred in TV programs including Just Shoot Me!, Home Improvement, Profiler, Melrose Place, Everybody Loves Raymond, CSI: Miami, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Gossip Girl and Nash Bridges. Additionally, he played Bruce Niles in the 2004 off-Broadway revival of Larry Kramer’s The Normal Heart at The Public Theater.
