Mariska Hargitay spoke about embracing 'vulnerability' in her 60s in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE at the 'Town & Country' Philanthropy Summit on Tuesday, Oct. 29.

While speaking exclusively to PEOPLE at the Town & Country Philanthropy Summit on Tuesday, Oct. 29, Hargitay shared that, since turning 60, being open and vulnerable has become her “superpower” and a part of her she has fully embraced with age. Hargitay jokes that she has turned being vulnerable into “a little bit of a sport” as she shares that she encourages those around her to also not be scared of opening up to her. Hargitay says being so personal as a public figure has helped her break down her fears and barriers with others and build stronger connections with people in general.
