Marilyn Manson Won’t Face Sexual Assault Charges As L.A. DA Cites Statute Of Limitations

Rocker Marilyn Manson won't face sexual abuse charges despite allegations by more than a dozen women including Evan Rachel Wood and Esmé Bianco, L.A. DA says.

Newly elected Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman said Friday, “We have determined that allegations of domestic violence fall outside of the statute of limitations, and we cannot prove charges of sexual assault beyond a reasonable doubt.” Prosecutors had spent four-plus years investigating “The Beautiful People” and “The Dope Show” singer Manson (real name Brian Warner) after the multiple claims of sexual assault and abuse. “We recognize and applaud the courage and resilience of the women who came forward to make reports and share their experiences, and we thank them for their cooperation and patience with the investigation,” the DA’s Office said in a statement Friday.
