Mariah Carey, Wizzard and Wham! are revealed as Britain's top Christmas songs - but does your festive favourite make the list?
Duo George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley 's number one hit came top, with 40% of people selecting the 1980s ballad Last Christmas as their choice.
Also featuring on the list were: Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker Suite; Shakin' Stevens' Merry Christmas Everyone; John and Yoko and the Plastic Ono Band's Happy Xmas (War Is Over) along with the carols Away In A Manger; Once In Royal David's City; O Holy Night; and O Come, All Ye Faithful. Huw Davies, deputy managing director at the RPO, said: 'For decades, December has been a time of year when rock and pop acts across the UK aspire to secure the coveted Christmas number one position in the charts. 'Our research indicates that 83% of UK adults say they will engage with classical and choral music in some shape or form during the month of December - and many people that have no prior connection with the genre say Christmas is the right time for them to give it a go.'
