Da Brat knows this first-hand after the Songbird Supreme performed a snippet of an unreleased track the pair seemingly worked on together in honor of the rapper’s 50th on Sunday (April 14) — see a clip below. Born Shawntae Harris, Da Brat has hopped on a number of the “We Belong Together” singer’s tracks — including the remixes of Carey’s “Heartbreaker,” “Loverboy” and “Always Be My Baby,” to name a few. The day marked Da Brat’s first birthday as a mom, having welcomed a baby boy named True Legend with wife Jesseca Harris-Dupart in July last year.
