Fans can now listen as the “Obsessed” singer delves into her songwriting process and the stories behind songs like title track “Portrait” and other fan-favorites — and all from Carey herself. The episode was released Thursday (May 23) and gives Lambs a preview of the Grammy-winning artist’s upcoming new project “The Butterfly Lounge” as well as provides an “intimate journey into her wondrous musical world,” according to the official description. This marks the second release that the popstar has put out through Audible, with the previous being her 2020 memoir, The Meaning of Mariah, which was a New York Times bestseller, a Goodreads Choice nominee and has earned more than 13,000 reviews on Amazon.
