Mariah Carey fans have been waiting for the moment the chanteuse will unveil Someone’s Ugly Daughter, the alt-rock LP she worked on with her band in 1995 while simultaneously recording her album Daydream. The Grammy-winning singer detailed in her 2020 memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey, that she and her band wrote and recorded Someone’s Ugly Daughter to blow off steam while working on Daydream. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s The Class of 2025 will be revealed in late April, and the induction ceremony will take place in Los Angeles this fall, with more details to be announced in the coming months.
