Plenty of shocking moments filled the minutes of Spider-Man: Far From Home, but perhaps none moreso than the reveal that Maria Hill and Nick Fury had secretly been Skrull agents throughout the film. However, given how monumental the Skrull reveal was at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, it’s interesting that they didn’t even clue her in to the idea that she was playing a different version of Maria Hill. Cobie Smulders clearly has a good relationship with the studio, with her having reprised her role as Maria Hill in the animated show Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.
