Sony Pictures, which is distributing the film, added it to the release calendar on Mother’s Day weekend, May 9. “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey” co-stars Colin Farrell and is described as “an imaginative tale of two strangers and the extraordinary emotional journey that connects them.” Lily Rabe, Jodie Turner-Smith, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Hamish Linklater also star in the romantic fantasy. “Every once in a great while in this job you read a script so special and original, that you fly to the last page, inspired and uplifted,” Rothman said at the time.
