Margot Robbie fans have gone wild for the news that she is set to produce a live action version of beloved computer game, The Sims.

The Sims players will know that it was one of the only ways to 'kill' their character if they wanted to get rid of them from the game, removing the ladder to make it impossible for them to get out of the water before the eventually drown. It is set to be directed by Kate Herron, who has worked behind-the-scenes on hit TV shows including Loki and Sex Education, with a release date yet to be confirmed. From picking their character's personality trails, job, skills and relationships to building homes, the computer game became hugely popular and was expanded with sequels and expansion packs.
