Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig's Barbie Oscars snub has made them MORE determined to make an 'even better' SEQUEL with Ryan Gosling - and pair are choosing to see awards brush-off as a 'badge of honor'

The duo have not let the insult put them off from diving into the world of Mattel again and are treating the snub as 'a badge of honor' - and have discussed the possibility of a follow up film.

Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig will use their brutal Oscars snub to create an epic Barbie sequel that will be 'even better' than the billion dollar blockbuster, and according to insiders, they've already had discussions with Ken star Ryan Gosling. However, the duo have not let the insult put them off from diving into the world of Mattel once again and are treating the snub as 'a badge of honor' - and have even discussed the possibility of a follow up film with Ryan, 43, who earned an Oscar nomination for his role as Barbie's doting admirer Ken. Talk of a sequel comes after Suicide Squad star Margot finally broke her silence about the Oscars drama during a Q&A at a special screening of Barbie at the Academy Museum in Los Angeles on January 30.
