Margaret Qualley to Play Amanda Knox in Hulu Limited Series
Margaret Qualley has been cast as Amanda Knox in an untitled limited series that has been ordered at Hulu, Variety has learned.
The official description states that the show is “based on the true story of how Knox was wrongfully convicted for the murder of her roommate Meredith Kercher and her 16-year odyssey to set herself free.” She previously earned an Emmy nomination for best supporting actress in a limited series for playing Ann Reinking in FX’s “Fosse/Verdon.” Qualley is also known for her roles in shows like “The Leftovers” and for films like “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” and “The Nice Guys.” In addition to several news special reports and documentaries, Lifetime aired the original film “Amanda Knox: Murder on Trial in Italy” in 2011.
