SaveLive, the platform launched in 2020 during the pandemic to assist independent venue owners and promote concerts in secondary and tertiary markets, has changed its name to Gate 52. The company was co-founded by John Fogelman and Marc Geiger “to bring scalable services and advantages to independent venue owners and secondary markets,” according to a press release announcing its launch. The name Gate 52 has multiple meanings, company officials tell Billboard, but it is rooted in the principles of the new age Human Design practice created by Ra Uru Hu during what he’s described as a period of divine revelation.
