Marc Burstein To Retire From ABC News Special Events Role After Inauguration
Burstein had planned and produced network special event coverage.
He has served as senior executive producer of special events, and has been with the network since the 1980s. During his tenure, Burstein has planned ABC News coverage of events including political conventions, inaugurations, election nights and debates, as well as special reports following the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. He started at the network as a producer for Good Morning America and World News Tonight.
