Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg Says Donald Trump Conviction Was Reached “Without Fear Or Favor”

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg met with reporters Thursday to discuss the 34 felony guilty verdicts in Donald Trump's hush-money trial.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, marking his successful prosecution and conviction of former President Donald Trump, credited the result as an example of his department’s enforcement of the law “without fear or favor.” “While this defendant may be unlike any other in American history, we arrived at this trial and ultimately today this verdict in the same manner as every other case that comes to the courtroom doors by following the facts and law, in doing so, with out fear or favor,” he told reporters. Many pundits and legal analysts expressed doubts about the case, as it was a complicated set of charges as it tied falsifying of business records to an underlying crime.
