Mandy Moore reveals she was 'sobbing' as she drove by her old home after LA fires destroyed it
She revealed earlier this month that she had lost her home in Altadena amid the devastating fires roiling parts of Los Angeles.
And Mandy Moore gave her 5.5 million Instagram followers an update on her mental state on Wednesday night after she had to return to the area to take her youngest child, four-month-old daughter Lou, to a doctor's appointment. The 40-year-old This Is Us star revealed that the journey near the rubble that was once her family home left her 'sob[bing]' during the car ride in the caption to a sweet video of her son Gus cradling baby Lou in his lap. After Mandy and Taylor were able to return to assess the damage, she reported in an Instagram post surveying the rubble that they found that the main portion of the home was still standing, at least temporarily, but it was no longer in livable condition.
