Mandy Moore Defends Sharing GoFundMe for In-Laws After L.A. Wildfire

Mandy Moore explained why she shared a GoFundMe campaign supporting her relatives who lost their possessions in the Pacific Palisades wildfire

“Yesterday, my brother-in-law and sister-in-law Griff and Kit [Goldsmith] lost their home and everything they own in the Eaton Fire,” Moore, 40, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, January 9. After visiting the remains earlier on Thursday, Moore detailed in another Instagram post that they learned the “main part” of the residence was still standing but “not livable.” Taylor and Griff’s studio, where they record music for their band Dawes, was also destroyed along with their instruments and equipment. “They’re expecting their first child in a few weeks and without a home or the most basic necessities, the days ahead feel unimaginable,” Koma, who is married to Hilary Duff, wrote via his Instagram.
