Mandisa's Cause of Death Revealed, Validating Her Father's Beliefs
The new report indicates that self-harm was not a factor in the singer's untimely death.
According to the document, Mandisa died from complications of class III obesity, citing her death as natural. "Class III obesity, formerly known as morbid obesity, is a complex chronic disease in which a person has a body mass index (BMI) of 40 or higher or a BMI of 35 or higher and is experiencing obesity-related health conditions," per the Cleveland Clinic. “But here's what I think happened,” he explained during her funeral service on April 27 at Brentwood Baptist Church in Nashville, Tennessee.
