Man Who Crashed Vehicle Through Gate Of Jennifer Aniston’s Bel-Air Home ID’d As Authorities Release New Details About Incident – Update
A man was detained by the Los Angeles Police Department earlier today after crashing his car through the gates of Jennifer Aniston’s Bel Air mansion.
At 12:20 p.m., a burglary suspect, described as a white male in his 70s, crashed his vehicle through the gates of a private residence in the 900 block of Airole Way. He was restrained by private security until LAPD arrived at the scene; TMZ said the driver was held at gunpoint and had to be examined by first responders following the crash, as he complained of pain. Designed by prolific modern architect A. Quincy Jones, renovated in 1965 by Frederick Fisher and later redone by the Friends alumna and ex-husband Justin Theroux, the 8,500 square-foot property was purchased for just under $21 million in the early 2010s.
