Malia Baker To Exec Produce, Star In Indie Drama ‘Hair Of The Bear’
Malia Baker has been set to exec produce and star in 'Hair of the Bear,' an indie survival drama from Alexandre Trudeau and James McLellan.
When she refuses to go to school, her concerned mother sends her to stay with her grandfather Benoit (Roy Dupuis) in a remote wilderness cabin. Best known for starring on Netflix’s series The Baby-Sitters Club, based on the children’s novels from Ann M. Martin, Baker has also previously been seen in Nickelodeon’s reimagined horror anthology, Are You Afraid of The Dark?, as well as the recent CBS All Access (now Paramount+) reboot of The Twilight Zone, The Flash, and A Million Little Things. Also seen in the Lifetime movie Caught in His Web, executive produced by Whoopi Goldberg, her other upcoming projects at the moment include Miramax’s dramedy Harvest Moon with Paul Bettany, Carmen Ejogo, and Candice Bergen, and Disney Channel movie The Descendants: The Rise Of Red, which has her sharing a bill with Brandy and Rita Ora.
