Malcolm In The Middle star Frankie Muniz reveals 'frustrating' reason he 'walked off the set' for two episodes: 'I was never afraid to stand up for myself'

Muniz, 38, revealed how he walked out on two episodes of Malcolm In The Middle to protest on-set conditions.

His admission comes shortly after Frankie admitted he's set for life because he was able to retire at 19 with tens of millions from his Malcolm In The Middle earnings, and he still receives residual checks to this day from foreign reruns. In his latest clip, which was posted to I'm A Celebrity's Instagram account, the former child star–turned–race car driver spoke up about the time he stood up for himself and the cast on set. Following the series' 2006 conclusion, he continued to have occasional film roles and guest spots on television, though he significantly decreased his on-screen work.
