Malaga Unveils 2025 Work in Progress Lineup Spotlighting Projects From Chile, Dominican Republic
Malaga Work in Progress showcases 16 Spanish and Ibero-American films in post-production.
Running from March 18-20, this segment is a key platform for emerging talent and established filmmakers alike, aimed at fostering the completion and international promotion of projects from Spain, Portugal and Latin America. This year’s slate includes eight Spanish productions, with a special focus on two films from the autonomous community of Murcia, which takes center stage in the festival’s Territory section. Tens of thousands of dollars in post-production, sound, lighting, distribution and other prizes are also up for grabs, provided by companies including Arcane Digital Cinema, Chemistry, Cine y Tele, E-28, Latamcinema.com, Music Library, Río Bravo, Sideral and Yagán Films.
