Makers of ‘spray-on’ trainers hoping to strike gold at the Olympics
Swiss company On will make history in Paris and is challenging the sneaker superbrands

Photograph: Nicolas HaeniAs well as Obiri, On made a shoe with Roger Federer (the tennis champion invested in the brand in 2019) and they will provide the uniforms for the Swiss team at the Paris Olympics. They have partnered with luxury brand Loewe on collections and actor Zendaya and singer FKA twigs – both recent Vogue cover stars – feature in their campaigns.
