Jono, 39, was embroiled in an on-screen controversy when it was revealed he had been texting Ellie Dix, who had already left the show, without telling his bride Lauren Dunn.
Jono adamantly insisted the texts were completely innocent, but the blow-up ultimately led to the end of his rocky relationship with PR maven Lauren, 32. Taking to the comments section, an array of fans flocked to support the new couple as they slammed the cruel trolls for bombarding him with hate messages.
