Madonna Notes Her Gratitude On One-Year Anniversary Of Hospitalization
Madonna has noted her comeback from a life-threatening infection.
Madonna has taken to social media to give thanks for surviving a bacterial infection that saw her hospitalized in intensive care. “A year ago today, I had just come home from the hospital after surviving a life threatening illness, I could barely stand in my backyard holding one sparkler,” Madonna wrote, displaying photos of herself with various friends on thhe 4th of July. “On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which lead (sic) to a several day stay in the ICU,” her longtime manager Guy Oseary wrote on Instagram at the time.
