Madonna biopic starring Julia Garner gets update as Netflix plots RIVAL series about her life
The 66-year-old Queen of Pop has partnered with global streaming giant Netflix for a limited series according to Deadline on Monday.
Despite it being a rival project, the three-time Emmy winner is the frontrunner to take on the role as Deadline's Nellie Andreeeva wrote that Julia 'would most likely play Madonna, subject of availability as she doesn’t have a deal.' It was also reported that Madonna will be working on the project with Canadian filmmaker Shawn Levy who directed blockbuster R-rated superhero flick Deadpool & Wolverine last year.
