Made In Chelsea's Jamie Laing hits back at criticism of Radio 1 job - 'I've been trying for 8 years'

Jamie Laing has hit back at haters who have accused him of not working for his new Radio 1 slot, sharing that he has been 'grinding for eight years' to create his radio career

He's set to join Radio 1 this week to host the station's widely-loved Going Home show, and Jamie Laing is determined to prove that while he rose to fame on reality TV, he's got so much more to offer. '"Jordan North is a complete pro/legend, he's left some really big shoes to fill so I’m going to do my absolute best to do him and the show justice, and to be working alongside the insane Vick Hope is amazing." Lots of you may know I'm never happier than when in front of the 1 mic, chatting to people, sharing stories, having fun and to continue that on drive time is going to be wild in the best way.
