The album, which has been the stuff of lore for years, features a more experimental and genre-bending version of Miller, with loose-jazz songs like the title “5 Dollar Pony Rides” to a meandering 12-minute “Tomorrow Will Never Know.” In a social media post this past November, Miller’s estate described the project as being “of great importance to Malcolm — to the extent that he commissioned artwork for it and discussions concerning when it should be released were had regularly, though ultimately ‘GO:OD AM’ and subsequent albums ended up taking precedence. 1 bestseller on the retailer, Amazon’s lineup includes crewneck sweatshirts, graphic tees, CDs, cassettes, and posters featuring the abstract illustration.
