Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Johnny Van Zant Reveals Youngest Daughter Was Hospitalized with Brain Mass: ‘Keep Saying Prayers’


Johnny Van Zant, frontman of legendary rock group Lynyrd Skynyrd, revealed that his youngest daughter, Taylor, was hospitalized with a brain mass. The news comes after the band canceled multiple September performances.

Lynyrd Skynyrd frontman Johnny Van Zant is asking fans to "say a prayer" for his youngest daughter and his family after her health scare. On Thursday, Sept. 26, the 64-year-old vocalist of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group revealed in a Facebook and Instagram video that his daughter, Taylor, was treated at an emergency room after having a "numbing feeling on her right side," before doctors discovered a mass on her brain this week. In his latest Facebook update, Van Zant told fans that doctors found a mass on her brain following a CAT scan and emergency room visit.
